I’m Nadia, a healthcare practitioner who manages Revitalize Therapies and Revitalize Clinic in Lowestoft, Suffolk. We specialise in offering innovative, leading solutions to musculoskeletal conditions through using state-of-the-art machines and technology.
My Background
At school I enjoyed human biology and found that learning about all things anatomy came naturally to me. This sparked my desire to become a physiotherapist, initially taking a role as a sports therapist at Diss Rugby Club, where I gained vital insight into sport injury and rehabilitation.
I then worked part time as a sports massage therapist for varied musculoskeletal injuries, proceeding to work in the healthcare sector for 7 years alongside experienced physiotherapists.
Starting Revitalize Clinic
After suffering a ligament injury in my shoulder and being in pain for a number of years, it was brought to my attention that the NHS did not have an effective solution, so I decided to try PRP and shockwave therapy.
This was the best thing I ever did and I’ve never looked back - my shoulder has been excellent since. This is when I knew I wanted to offer this treatment to my own clients, investing in the very best shockwave technology (Masterplus50 stortz medical shockwave device) in order to offer focused shockwave therapy.
I furthered my training and qualifications to expand my offering: gaining more in-depth knowledge around soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, joint mobilisation, ED and Peyronie's Disease.
I took a leap of faith and decided to go full-time self-employed, running my sister business - Revitalize Therapies, which offers shockwaves therapy for chronic musculoskeletal problems, as well as hair loss treatment, platelet-rich plasma injections, facial cosmetics and EMTT.
My degree in counselling means I have experience dealing with clients with relationships and sex problems, so understand and empathise with the anxieties and emotional impact of ED.
Revitalize Clinic was born after I noticed a lack of ED clinics in the area, and the need for a bespoke, friendly and professional service for those experiencing this extremely common condition.
